Second City Canine Rescue is an AMAZING group of people dedicated to finding forever homes for the many many animals that come through their organization. Second City Canine Rescue’s mission is to rescue homeless animals and responsibly place them into permanent, loving homes.
They are a volunteer-based organization that relies heavily on Foster Homes and are dedicated to serving the homeless dogs of Chicagoland, as well as branching out to other areas (such as Oklahoma, Indiana, Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Texas, & Michigan) – wherever homeless dogs & puppies need them! Turning homeless dogs into loving family pets is their goal…and they’re at it 7 days a week! If you can’t make this event (and we hope you CAN) please consider donating to this wonderful organization and cause!
We’re excited to host this Adoption Event/Fundraiser with Second City and we’re hoping YOU will come out and support them too! We’ll be RAFFLING OFF AN APPLE I-PAD! We’re holding a Dog Costume Contest All Week Long (from October 22-26…so you don’t have to bring your costumed pet to the event itself) with Voting determined by the General Public on Social Media starting on Sunday October 26! Just let your Bartender know and we’ll get em in the contest! The cost is $5 (which goes directly to Second City Canine Rescue!)
We’ve also got the Yellow Duck Food Truck scheduled from 2-6PM! They have an knack for crafting AMAZING and DELICIOUS food that you REALLY need to try! Check them out at:
